Hear The Whistle Write an essay on the emotions you experience after hearing the actual horn from the Titanic. This is the same sound that 1500 people heard before they went to their watery grave.

Locate the NY Times of the day of the sinking of the Titanic. Read the article, 
make a copy. 
Imagine that you are a reporter. Prepare a newscast to recite to the class. Ask 
another student to video you so that you can put it in your report.
You are in a lifeboat and have just watched the Titanic disappear from view. Your lifeboat is overcrowded and all passengers have agreed that it would be dangerous to have anyone else come onto the lifeboat. They are all afraid 
that the lifeboat would capsize if another person come on board. ALL agree that no other person can come in the boat. The person in charge of the boat is given a gun to enforce this rule.
A hand pops up on the side of the lifeboat right next to you. The person is someone dear to you (mother, father, brother sister). This person says "If I don't get out of this icy water I will die in just 5 minutes.
