PRINCIPALS' CONFERENCE at P.S. 101Q - April 2, 2004
Diane Foley, LIS  invited principals to view how Instructional Technology is integrated with curriculum and the standards at P.S. 101.
Mr. Joseph, principal, explained that our website, called The EMAGINATORIUM, allows our students to enjoy school on weedends and holidays. The website (open 24 hours a day) offers educational activities, a place to post students' work, test preparation and even a guest book where students can respond teachers' assignments and school contests.
Students from Kindergarten through Grade 3, showed how they navigated the school website: ps101.webhop.org
Many principals requested assistance in establishing similar websites for their schools, from David Erdil, Lead Instructional Technology Specialist. Read their comments below.

COMMENTS FROM ATTENDING PRINCIPALS
This is a wonderful learning environment for students. I want to make this happen in my school. My school is an early childhood school, grades K-3. (Third grade is new for 2004-05)I have a computer lab, but it is a SCANTEK Lab. The funding has run out. This lab concept would be great for my students. I want to make this happen for 2004-05.

I had a terrific time learning in your emaginatorium lab, especially being taught by K-1-2 students. It's a great educational tool for all students. Even though my computer teacher has learned a lot from you Mr. Stein, I am energized to do more with the students in my building. Thank you for the opportunity. Althea Tyson

Your demonstration was inspiring. I would like two of my teachers trained. Please tell me the steps that need to be taken.
