| DO THIS FROM HOME: 1. Navigate to the P.S. 101 website; 2. Open coloring book; 3. Open the dragon file which was drawn by Gary C. PS101, Grade 6; 4. Copy and paste the image into the PAINT program in Microsoft Word; 7. Create 6-or more animation frames. 8. Create a folder named ***dragon in MY DOCUMENTS on your C: drive; 9. Save each image as 1, 2, ... 9, 9a, 9b, to insure that they will be listed in numerical order. 10. Search the web for the trial version of GIF Movie Gear; 11. Download the file to desktop; 12. Install the program to your home computer (YOU MUST GET YOUR PARENT'S PERMISSON FIRST!!!!). 13. Open GIF Movie Gear; 14. Use GIF Movie Gear to animate your frames. 15. Change the speed of the animation remembering that frames will be viewd in 1/100 second intervals. 16. Save the animated gif file as (Save GIF Animation As) ***dragon.gif in your *** dragon folder. 17. Send an email to me at emaginatorium@aol.com and attach the animation file. Leave a message on the guestbook alerting me to the fact that you have completed all of the above. We will choose a winner soon after May 16th, 2004. |
